PROVIDEAN CLOSTRIDIAL 8

This vaccine belongs to the group

If you know the consequences of clostridial diseases, you don’t want to be affected by any of them again.
Providean Clostridial 8 protects against the largest number of clostridia circulating in the field.

It contains a wide combination of antigens for the prevention of clostridial diseases. It can be applied simultaneously with other vaccines of the Providean line since there is no cross interference. Thus, each farm can implement the most practical vaccination scheme according to its needs

Dosage and application routes:

Cattle: 2 ml/dose

Sheep: 1 ml/dose.

Suggested immunization schedule:

Cattle: Calves: apply 2 doses starting at 3 months of age with an interval of 15 days. Revaccinate annually. If the calf is the offspring of a non-vaccinated mother, it is advisable to advance vaccination to the second month of life to reduce the window period of exposure. Pregnant females: apply 2 doses during the 6th and 7th month of pregnancy to protect the calf indirectly until it receives its own vaccination schedule. Other categories: Primo-vaccinated animals: apply 2 doses with an interval of 15 days. When new animals enter the farm, apply 2 doses 30 and 45 days in advance. If this scheme is not possible, it is recommended to keep the new animals apart for 30 days, and to apply 2 doses with an interval of 15 days between them.

Sheep: From the age of 2 months apply 2 doses with an interval of 15 days between both. Revaccinate annually all categories and species. In farms with high prevalence of the disease it may be necessary to vaccinate every six months. The suggested scheme should be adapted to the recommendation of your veterinarian according to the particular needs of each region or farm.
