Composition:
Each 1 ml dose of vaccine contains: Eastern Equine Encephalomyelitis Virus (> 10 7.50 TCID 50% / dose), Western Equine Encephalomyelitis Virus (> 10 7.50 TCID 50% / dose), Adjuvanted Aluminum Hydroxide Gel, Excipients q.s. 1 ml.
Directions:
Prevention or prophylaxis of encephalomyelitis in equines.
Dosage:
1 ml/dose. Administer intramuscularly. Shake the bottle before filling the syringe.
Guideline Immunization Schedule
Primary vaccinated animals: vaccinate from 3 months of age and revaccinate 30 days after the first dose.
Future applications: 1 time per year.
The suggested schedule should be adapted to your veterinarian’s recommendation according to the particular needs of each region or establishment.
Precautions and Warnings
Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not subject animals to excessive stress or work before and/or after vaccination. Do not administer to parasitized, malnourished, fatigued, feverish animals or those under treatment with antibiotics and/or corticosteroids. Apply this product under the supervision of a veterinary professional. The product may cause a slight local reaction at the injection site that disappears progressively. In isolated cases, the vaccine may cause anaphylactic shock, in which case the Veterinarian must apply 1‰ epinephrine. Used containers must be discarded in accordance with current local legislation.
Conservation
Between 2°C and 8°C. Do not freeze. Do not expose the product to heat or sunlight.
