Composition:

Each 5 ml. dose of vaccine contains: High titer of Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus. Adjuvant Pilatus GHA500®; High Protein Adsorption Aluminum Hydroxide; Excipients q.s.

Dosage and application routes:

Apply 5 ml subcutaneously exclusively.

Suggested immunization schedule:

For the prevention of abortions: Primo vaccination: two doses with an interval of 21 to 30 days between them. Pre-service. Cows, Heifers: First dose: 60 days before service or Artificial Insemination. Second dose: 21 and 30 days after the first dose. Administer a booster during palpation in breeding or dairy herds with high losses between palpation and calving. Bulls, Calves: Apply two doses with an interval of 21 to 30 days, from 90 days of age. Revaccinate annually.

For the arrival of new animals at the farm: If possible, it is recommended to make a diagnosis to rule out persistently infected animals or animals with the disease. Apply two doses: 30 and 15 days prior to their arrival. If it is not possible to carry out the suggested scheme, leave the animals isolated from the general herd for 30 days, and apply one dose on day 1 and another one after 15 days. The vaccination plan should be adapted to the indications of the veterinarian according to the needs of each region and/or farm.

Precautions

Keep out of the reach of children. In case of accident with the product, contact the National Poison Center (In Argentina Telephone: 0800-333-0160). Do not subject animals to herding or excessive work before and after the vaccination. Do not administer to parasitized, malnourished, fatigued, or feverish animals, or animals on antibiotic and/or corticosteroid treatment.

Warnings

Administer this product under veterinary supervision. The product may generate a slight local reaction at the application site that disappears progressively. In isolated cases, this vaccine may produce anaphylactic shock, in which case administer epinephrine at 1‰.

Storage

Between 2 and 8º C. Do not freeze. Do not expose to heat or sunlight.
